Changing your wiper blades is a quick and simple job you can usually do in a few minutes without tools. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

Important Note
After installation, activate the water-repellent coating before use:
1. Clean your windscreen thoroughly using a specialist cleaner like Invisible Glass™ Glass Cleaner.
2. Run your wiper blades on low speed for 3 minutes during wet/rainy conditions, or during dry conditions spray the windshield washer jets for 3 seconds every 15-20 seconds intervals.
3. Enjoy crystal-clear vision with your new Invisible Glass™ Ceramic Silicone Beam wiper blades!

1. Find the Right Blades

  • Check your vehicle’s owner’s manual or use a parts lookup (online or in-store) to confirm the correct size for your driver, passenger, and rear wipers.

  • Many cars use different lengths for each side.

2. Prepare the Vehicle

  • Turn off the car and make sure the wipers are in the “parked” position (resting at the bottom of the windshield*).
⚠️ Tip: Refer to owner’s manual for wiper hidden under hood and cowl

  • Lift the wiper arm away from the windshield until it locks upright.
⚠️ Tip: Place a towel on the windshield to prevent scratches in case the arm snaps back.

3. Remove the Old Blade

Your vehicle may have one of these common connector types:

  • J-Hook (most common): Press the release tab and slide the blade downward off the hook.

  • Side Pin Arm: Push the locking tab and slide the blade sideways to release the pin.

  • Bayonet Arm: Press the tab and pull the blade straight off the arm.

  • Side Lock / Push Button: Press the side button, then pull the blade straight off.

4. Attach the New Blade

  • Line up the new blade with the connector on the wiper arm.

  • Push or slide it into place until you hear a click or feel it lock.

  • Gently tug to confirm it’s secure.

5. Lower and Test

  • Carefully lower the wiper arm back onto the windshield.

    Important Note
After installation, remove the plastic blade protector from the rubber edge before using your new wiper blades.
  • Repeat steps for the other blade(s).

  • Turn on your wipers with washer fluid to make sure they sweep smoothly and quietly.

Pro Tips:

  • Replace your blades every 6–12 months, or sooner if they streak, chatter, or skip.

  • Always replace both front wipers as a set for even performance.

  • If your vehicle has a rear wiper, don’t forget to check it too.
